Vale Graeme Campbell — an inspiration to Australian nationalists

It is with sadness that we acknowledge the recent passing of Mr. Graeme Campbell, once a giant of the Australian nationalist movement.

Born in Oxfordshire, England, in 1939, Mr. Campbell emigrated to Australia as a child, and was educated in South Australia. He worked in a variety of occupations, before entering parliament as the new Labor member for Kalgoorlie in 1980.

When Labor was elected to the Australian government under Bob Hawke in 1983, Campbell found himself often at odds with his own Labor government. He was a vocal critic of the High Court’s Mabo decision and the Labor government’s resultant legislation. He spoke out against mass immigration and the burgeoning Multicultural and Aboriginal “industries”.

In 1995 Graeme Campbell and Mark Uhlmann wrote a book, Australia Betrayed, which dealt with the political problems facing Australia. An updated edition of that book is currently available for purchase from Hesperian Press.

Campbell eventually resigned from the Labor Party (just as moves were being made to expel him), and went on to form the original Australia First Party in 1996. He sought to offer a real alternative to the Leftist, globalist agenda being imposed on Australia. Although his new venture would prove electorally unsuccessful, Campbell continued to fight for the nationalist cause by attempting to get elected as a member with One Nation.

Graeme Campbell’s final public speaking performance was at an event in Perth hosted by the Australian Protectionist Party back in July of 2016. It can be viewed online here .
