We must be prepared to defend ourselves against military aggression

The threat from China

The actions of the Chinese government, in sending a flotilla of armed ships of the Chinese navy to deliberately, provocatively, and threateningly patrol around Australia’s coastline, should be a wake-up call for our nation.

China has historically been a bully, from the days of its expansionist Emperors, to its demanding of tribute and subservience from nearby countries in historical times, to its bullying and threatening behaviour against nations in the South China Sea in modern times. Whether its leaders are Emperors or Communist dictators makes little difference, as they all commonly exhibit the same bullying mentality.

The Chinese empire (which is what it is, despite what we might otherwise call it) is a threat to neighbouring countries. Indeed, due to its population size, economic resources, military capabilities, and bullying mentality, China is a threat to the entire Asia-Pacific region.

It was stated a long time ago that China is a sleeping dragon, and that the world should beware lest it wakes — and that warning is quite correct. The quote has been attributed to Napoleon, but it seems unlikely that he ever specifically said it in that form; however, that does not change the truth of the warning. China has the capacity to be a bully and tyrant on an international level.

Geo-political realities

Most modern Australians have grown complacent over military matters because we have not been directly threatened by war since 1945. Therefore, the bulk of the population seem to think that this peaceful state of affairs will last forever. The unforeseen war between Russia and the Ukraine should be a reminder that the state of world stability can change almost overnight. Combine regional instability with a non-interventionist American government, and we could see things change rather quickly in the Asia-Pacific region.

The Chinese empire, the Japanese empire, the Indian empire, and the Indonesian empire are all possible threats to Australia, depending on their future economic resources, military capabilities, the mentality of their leadership, and a change in world events (economically or militarily) which makes them belligerent or desperate.

It has been said that the World Powers missed an historic opportunity at the time of the Boxer Rebellion (1899-1901) by not seizing the chance to break China up into smaller countries; if they had done so, China would not be the threat that it is today. The British, in their drive for efficiency, united and moulded the Indian empire into one completely federated unit, which was a mistake in the long-term. The rulers of the Japanese and Indonesian empires expanded their territories without the world paying too much attention. These four empires are all potential threats to Australia, and if we don’t recognise that fact, then we would be doing the future of our nation a disservice.

There is no “fairness” in the world, there is only power; so-called “fairness” is only made possible when those with power enforce it. Our modern-day peaceful times are only made possible through the power of the gun. In a dog-eat-dog world, only the strong survive, and bullies can do whatever they want; we should pay close attention to China, as her bullying and threatening actions are inadvertently telling us exactly what international bullies are capable of. If the USA ever becomes a totally isolationist power, the game would change, and not in our favour. Similarly, if America disappeared from world affairs (for example, if 90% of its population was wiped out by a virus), we would soon learn what the realities of the world actually are — and it is likely that China would be our teacher.

Hope for our nation

With all that being said, one of the greatest advances in Australia’s military capabilities is forging ahead, largely unnoticed by the general population. The creation of an Australian academy to build nuclear submarines and to train submariners is a huge step in our nation becoming able to defend itself.

This is a great move by the Labor Party. Indeed, given the general uselessness of the two major parties, it is amazing that they have made something so worthwhile.

Having a large fleet of nuclear submarines would be a game-changer for the Australian military. It would give us the capability to effectively defend ourselves from enemy attacks, and would enable us to carry out long-range retaliatory strikes against any attacking or invading empire. The importance of this academy, and the possibilities that it brings, cannot be understated.

Of course, we cannot rely only on submarines for our defence. However, it is a great start for a revitalised defence force.

Australia’s weaknesses

The Australian nation has been weakened by several elements over the last several decades.

1) The fear of offending other nations, and wanting to change Australia to appease the countries of Asia, has been a significant factor in the political class for a long time (making a significant impact since the 1940s).

2) The appearance of a weak-kneed attitude toward firearms, and a hippy-like approach to life in general (including leftist-dominated environmentalism and veganism), occurring significantly in our schools, as peddled by hippies, Cultural Marxists, and weak-minded individuals in our schools since at least the 1960s (it should be noted that normal environmentalism is quite different to politically-motivated leftist environmentalism).

3) The ascendancy in Australia of multiculturalism, cosmopolitanism, and cultural pluralism, pushed in our schools by cosmopolitans, Cultural Marxists, and weak-minded individuals for many decades, and perpetuated by the predominantly socially-leftist mainstream media and entertainment industry.

4) The rise of ethnic and social disunity, and the ongoing demographic decimation of the Australian people, via immigration-driven demographic changes, arranged by the Liberal-Labor uniparty (an inter-connected regime entity, like a two-headed snake).

All of these elements have sapped the strength of the Anzac breed. If a war came to our shores tomorrow, a significant part of the young male population would be crying out for peace (whilst their fellow Australians are being shot), wringing their hands at the prospect of having to shoot the brown-skinned invaders (oh no, the “racism” of it all), or wanting to consult local Aboriginal populations on fighting in their areas (just in case they disturbed the “Rainbow Serpent” or any other made-up mythological being). The Australians of today are not the same type of Australians who fought in the World Wars of the 20th century.

However, all of these elements are reversible.

Australia and the art of self-defence

If our nation is to exist in the big bad world, we must be prepared to arm ourselves, both physically and mentally. We must have an efficient army, navy, and air force, all with adequate modern fighting capabilities (including nuclear submarines, advanced fighter planes, drones, etc.), so that we can ensure our peace with military power (“peace through superior firepower” is not just a slogan).

We must fully fund and develop military assets, such as the submarine academy. As part of a wider military strategy, we must encompass advanced fighter planes, strategic bombers, drones, and satellite capabilities.

We must restore the demographic and cultural integrity of the Australian nation via immigration controls and cultural advancement (including the teaching of patriotic Australian culture and history in the schools, and the elimination of Cultural Marxist propagandists from the government-funded education system).

We must reinvigorate the military preparedness of our population, including inculcating a patriotic military mindset (distinct from the cosmopolitan, Cultural Marxist, hippy-like mindset pushed upon students by leftist and multiculturalist propagandists). Age-appropriate students should be taught shooting, drone usage, and medical fieldwork.

We must increase our population, in line with the old catchphrase “Populate or perish!” It has often been said that “the best immigrants are babies”, and that old saying is quite correct; so we must bring in policies that help mothers, and encourage a higher rate of births. Whilst having a smaller population is good for environmental and cultural reasons, we must balance that against the need of having a population sizable enough to provide an effective defence against any enemy empires of the future. We must explore various desert reclamation techniques, develop cheap and efficient desalination capabilities, and populate inner Australia (concentrating on arid areas, leaving fertile areas for food production). Having a larger population will allow us to have a larger military capability.

We must do all this, or else we must instruct all of our children in the art of speaking Chinese, so that they can efficiently bow down to their masters at some unforeseen date (although, to be fair, learning Asian languages can be a useful tool for increasing Australian military intelligence).

Australia should bristle like a hedgehog in its military capabilities. The world does not owe us a living. We should not rely on the USA to defend us; we must prepare ourselves to deal with the bullies of the world. As Henry Lawson once wrote, “the South must look to the South for strength in the storm that is to come”.
