APP vote recommendations for Victoria

Please note that APP does not recommend across-the-board preferencing of either Liberal or Labor, but recommends it on a seat-by-seat basis, based on the individual candidates and the seats they’re contesting.

This covers (mostly) marginal, but not all seats.

ASTON – APP recommends a vote for either Palmer United Party or Rise Up Australia, and that the Greens be placed last.

BATMAN – APP recommends a vote for either Palmer United Party or Rise Up Australia, and that the Greens be placed last.

CASEY – APP recommends a vote for either Country Alliance or Rise Up Australia, and that the Greens be placed last.

DEAKIN – APP recommends a vote for either Australia First Party, Country Alliance, Rise Up Australia, Katter’s Australian Party, or the independent Mike Barclay. We recommend the Greens be placed last.

DUNKLEY – APP recommends a vote for either Palmer United Party or Rise Up Australia, and that the independent Roy Broff be placed last. We recommend Liberal Bruce Billson be placed BEFORE the Labor and Greens candidates.

FLINDERS – APP recommends a vote for either independent candidate, Denis McCormack or Paul Madigan (who are both advocating a “Reduce Immigration” policy), and that the Greens be placed last.

GORTON – APP recommends a vote for either Katter’s Australia Party or Family First, and that the Greens be placed last. We recommend Liberal Phil Humphreys be placed BEFORE Labor’s Brendan O’Connor.

HIGGINS – APP recommends a vote for either Palmer United Party or Rise Up Australia, and that the Greens be placed last.

INDI – APP recommends a vote for either Katter’s Australia Party or Rise Up Australia, and that the Greens be placed last. We recommend Liberal Sophie Mirabella be placed BEFORE the independent Cathy McGowan, and BEFORE the Labor candidate.

ISAACS – APP recommends a vote for either DLP Democratic Labour or Rise Up Australia, and that the Greens be placed last. We recommend Liberal Garry Spencer be placed BEFORE the Labor’s Mark Dreyfus.

KOOYONG – APP recommends a vote for either Palmer United Party or Rise Up Australia, and that the Greens be placed last. We recommend Labor’s John Kennedy be placed BEFORE Liberal Josh Frydenberg.

LA TROBE – APP recommends a vote for either DLP Democratic Labour or Rise Up Australia, and that the Greens be placed last.

MALLEE – APP recommends a vote for either Country Alliance, Katter’s Australia Party or Rise Up Australia, and that the Greens be placed last. We recommend Nationals Andrew Broad be placed BEFORE the Liberal and Labor candidates.

McMILLAN – APP recommends a vote for either Country Alliance, Katter’s Australia Party or Rise Up Australia, and that the Greens be placed last.

MELBOURNE – APP recommends a vote for either DLP Democratic Labour or Rise Up Australia, and that the Greens’ Adam Bandt, and independent Anthony Main (Socialist Alliance member) be placed last and second last. We recommend Labor’s Cath Bowtell be placed BEFORE the Liberal candidate.

MELBOURNE PORTS – APP recommends a vote for either DLP Democratic Labour or Rise Up Australia, and that the Greens be placed last. We recommend Liberal Kevin Ekendahl be placed BEFORE Labor’s Michael Danby.

WANNON – APP recommends a vote for either Palmer United Party or Australian Christians, and that the Greens be placed last.

VICTORIAN SENATE – APP recommends a vote for any of the following – the Australian Voice Party, Katter’s Australian Party, Country Alliance, Rise Up Australia, or One Nation.

Or you may also wish to vote for the Smokers Rights Party, Australian Christians, Shooters and Fishers, No Carbon Tax Climate Sceptics, Bank Reform Party, Stop CSG, Stop The Greens, Fishing and Lifestyle Party, or the Motoring Enthusiast Party.

If you choose to number all the boxes, we recommend the Greens and the Socialist Equality Party be placed last, just behind the Labor, Liberal and National candidates (put the last three in the order you want).
