The advent of billionaire mining baron Clive Palmer’s “Palmer United Party” should be a good thing for Australian politics. Not because of who Clive Palmer is, or what his party’s policies are (as their policies haven’t been released yet, they could be bad ones for all we know), but because it offers another alternative to the Liberal-Labor system.
The Liberal and Labor parties have failed Australia in a great many ways, and anything that helps to break their stranglehold upon the neck of our nation is to be welcomed. Whatever the differences in their policies may once have been, the old Liberal and Labor parties used to be patriotic organisations, run by men and women who had the best interests of Australia at heart. But since the 1960s and 70s both parties have come to be infected with anti-national cosmopolitans and globalists, whether it be multiculturalists like Malcolm Fraser and Gough Whitlam, or the new-breed globalists like Julia Gillard and Tony Abbott.
Since the anti-national types took over the major parties (which were already embedded in the national psyche), they have the resulting advantage of being the recipient of traditional voting behaviour patterns, from the mass of Australians who tend to stick to “their party”; and therefore the new Liberal and Labor apparatchiks have avoided the fallout from a public realisation that those parties are in fact no longer the pro-Australian parties that they once were.
Success in modern politics has very little to do with who has the best ideas or policies; rather, it is much more about money, enjoying a public profile, and having the capacity to “market” oneself to the public.
Add into the mix the prominence that the mainstream media gives to the two major parties, with the resultant psychological validation of those two parties being the only “real” choice for most voters, and we end up with the future direction of the Australian people being stuck in a rut.
The vehicle of Australian politics is bogged in quicksand, its wheels spinning endlessly, slowly sinking to its death. Liberal and Labor are battling each other over who gets to hold the steering wheel; whilst the children (the Australian people) are sitting in the back seat sit, waiting patiently to be driven off to the Land of Better Times, without realising that, with Liberal and Labor in charge, the entire contraption is doomed to sink and disappear below the surface of the swamp.
Liberal and Labor have failed Australia too many times, have betrayed the Australian people too many times, and we should welcome anything that helps to break their cadaverous grip upon the steering wheel of the Australian nation. Clive Palmer has both money and a high public profile (especially in Queensland), and he could throw an interesting new spanner into the works of Australian politics.
The Palmer United Party may end up going in a good or bad direction, but at least they are taking more people away from the Liberal-Labor death-trap.

Clive Palmer is aware of Agenda 21/ UN interference, which is a big plus. There are common threads to a number of minor conservative parties. With a bit of luck, Clive might even do the smart thing and have a group effort of partially united ,like minded parties. It would make all of them more credible and give all of them a better chance of getting someone elected and getting enough votes for funding. The minor differences between the conservative groups but with the common (sense)goals just makes us all seem all the more real . Labor/Greens and Liberals have all let us down. A lot of voters are getting sick of being ignored.
Another heartless party I sent email about having lost my savings continuously for 43 years to him and didnt even get a reply he obviously like labor and liberal and greens thinks such outcome perfectly ok

If you re-read the article, it does not support Palmer’s party.
It is saying that Australia needs more political alternatives, whether good or bad, just to get people out of the dead-end trap of the Liberal and Labor parties.
