APP vote recommendations for Victoria, 18 May 2019

Please note that the APP does not recommend across-the-board preferencing of either Liberal or Labor, but recommends it on a seat-by-seat basis, based on the individual candidates and the seats they’re contesting.

ASTON – APP recommends a vote for either the United Australia Party or Labour DLP, and that the Greens be placed last. We recommend Liberal Alan Tudge be placed BEFORE the Labor candidate.

BALLARAT – APP recommends a vote for the independent Nick Shady, and that the Greens be placed last. We recommend that the Liberal candidate be placed BEFORE Labor’s Catherine King.

BENDIGO – APP recommends a vote for Fraser Anning’s Conservative National Party, and that the Greens be placed last. We recommend Liberal Sam Gayed be placed BEFORE Labor’s Lisa Chesters.

BRUCE – APP recommends a vote for Fraser Anning’s Conservative National Party, and that the Greens be placed last.

CALWELL – APP recommends a vote for Fraser Anning’s Conservative National Party, and that the Victorian Socialists and Socialist Equality Party be placed last and second last.

CASEY – APP recommends a vote for either the independent Peter Charleton, Rise Up Australia Party, The Great Australian Party, or Labour DLP, and that the Greens be placed last.

CHISHOLM – APP recommends a vote for either the independent Ian Dobby, Rise Up Australia Party or Labour DLP, and that the Greens be placed last. We recommend the Liberal candidate be placed BEFORE the Labor candidate.

COOPER – APP recommends a vote for either the independent Teresa Van Lieshout or the United Australia Party, and that the Victorian Socialists be placed last. We recommend Liberal Andrew Bell be placed BEFORE Labor’s Ged Kearney.

CORANGAMITE – APP recommends a vote for Rise Up Australia Party or the United Australia Party, and that the Greens be placed last.

DEAKIN – APP recommends a vote for either the United Australia Party or Labour DLP, and that the Greens be placed last. We recommend Liberal candidate Michael Sukkar be placed BEFORE the Labor
candidate.

DUNKLEY – APP recommends a vote for Fraser Anning’s Conservative National Party, and that the Greens be placed last. We recommend that Liberal candidate Chris Crewther be placed BEFORE Labor’s Peta Murphy.

FLINDERS – APP recommends a vote for the independent Susie Beveridge or the United Australia Party, and that the Greens be placed last. We recommend Liberal Greg Hunt be placed BEFORE the independent Julia Banks.

FRASER – APP recommends a vote for The Great Australian Party, and that the Greens be placed last.

GIPPSLAND – APP recommends a vote for Fraser Anning’s Conservative National Party, and that the Greens be placed last. We recommend that National Party candidate Darren Chester be placed BEFORE Labor’s Antoinette Holm.

GOLDSTEIN – APP recommends a vote for the independent John Tiger Casley, and that the Greens be placed last. We recommend Liberal Tim Wilson be placed BEFORE Labor’s Daniel Pollock.

HIGGINS – APP recommends a vote for either Sustainable Australia, or the United Australia Party, and that the Greens be placed last.

HOTHAM – APP recommends a vote for Rise Up Australia, and that the Greens be placed last. We recommend Liberal George Hua be placed BEFORE Labor’s Clare O’Neil.

INDI – APP recommends a vote for the United Australia Party, and that the Greens be placed last. We recommend the Liberal and Nationals candidates be placed BEFORE the independent Helen Haines.

ISAACS – APP recommends a vote for either the disendorsed Liberal Jeremy Hearne, or the United Australia Party, and that the Greens be placed last, and Labor’s Mark Dreyfus second last.

JAGAJAGA – APP recommends a vote for Rise Up Australia, and that the Greens be placed last. We recommend Liberal Richard Welch be placed BEFORE Labor’s Kate Thwaites.

KOOYONG – APP recommends a vote for the independent Bill Chandler or the United Australia Party, and that the Greens be placed last.

LALOR – APP recommends a vote for Susan Jakobi of the Australia First Party, and that the Greens be placed last. We recommend Liberal Gayle Murphy be placed BEFORE Labor’s Joanne Ryan.

LA TROBE – APP recommends a vote for either Rise Up Australia, or Pauline Hanson’s One Nation, and that the Greens be placed last. We recommend Liberal Jason Wood be placed BEFORE Labor’s Simon Curtis.

MALLEE – APP recommends a vote for Fraser Anning’s Conservative National Party, and that the Greens be placed last.

MARIBYRNONG – APP recommends a vote for the United Australia Party. We recommend Labor’s Bill Shorten be placed last.

McEWEN – APP recommends a vote for Pauline Hanson’s One Nation, and that the Greens be placed last. We recommend Liberal Phillip Fusco be placed BEFORE Labor’s Rob Mitchell.

MELBOURNE – APP recommends a vote for the United Australia Party. We recommend that the Greens’ Adam Bandt be placed last.

MENZIES – APP recommends a vote for Labour DLP, and that the Greens be placed last. We recommend Liberal Kevin Andrews be placed BEFORE the Labor candidate.

MONASH – APP recommends a vote for Pauline Hanson’s One Nation, and that the Greens be placed last. We recommend Liberal Russell Broadbent be placed BEFORE the Labor candidate.

NICHOLLS – APP recommends a vote for the independent Nigel Hicks, and that the Greens be placed last.

WILLS – APP recommends a vote for the resigned, but listed Liberal Peter Killin, and that the Greens and Victorian Socialists be placed last and second last.
