Leftist reactionaries, the media, and the Culture War

Calls for the removal, or alteration, of the statue of Captain Cook in Hyde Park (Sydney) are the opening of a new chapter in the handbook of disaffected anti-Australian radicals.

It is no coincidence that this new campaign comes hot on the heels of the offensive by American radical Leftists against Confederate statues. When American Leftists sneeze, Australian Leftists catch a cold — because the anti-Western extremists in Australia are in large part the sycophantic followers of the extremist elements in the USA. For all of their anti-American rhetoric, Australian Leftists are little more than slavish reactionaries who follow the lead of their American counterparts, like livestock being led by their nose rings, reacting as desired by those they follow.

The media in Australia play no small role in this matter. It is not a coincidence that so soon after the media publicized the ravings of Stan Grant (a part-Aboriginal media hack), who ranted against the statue of Captain Cook in Hyde Park, that some small-minded Leftists vandalised the Cook memorial.

Once again, the radical Left, who pride themselves in believing that they are the avant-garde of progressive thinking, reacted unthinkingly to the media’s dog whistles. As per usual, the mainstream media pushes some anti-Western theme, and then the radical Leftist half-wits begin barking and commence a new campaign, seemingly unaware that they are reactionaries who are chasing a stick thrown to them by their media masters — the master/dog or master/slave relationship between the media and the radical Left is a symbiotic association between two elements engaged in the Culture War against the West. However, their relationship is not one between equals, as the media fulfills the role of dog whistler, whilst the Leftists act like puppies on a lead — or should that be like puppets on a string? (Or rather “muppets”, perhaps?)

It is no coincidence that ever since assorted Leftists, Socialists, Communists, and similar species took over the bulk of our nation’s universities, occurring from at least the 1960s, that our country has produced wave after wave of university-brainwashed Cultural Marxists and their fellow-travellers, many of whom then entered into the education and media workforce and subsequently began their own brainwashing practices upon students and the general public — not as part of some grand conspiracy, but as a natural consequence of what happens when you put self-righteous anti-Western acolytes into positions of power. Unlike Conservatives, who are normally constrained by notions of fair play and decency, Leftist radicals are more than happy to push their own agendas by any means, no matter whether fair or foul.

When your nation is under attack by traitors embedded inside your own country’s institutions, it is essential to awaken the population to the fact of the treachery occurring from within. To bring about such an awakening is not an easy task, but it is both necessary and urgent — as the threat from traitors is a dire one indeed.

A warning on such matters, attributed to the Roman statesman Cicero, is most certainly relevant:

“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to be feared.”

The fight for Australia will be a long one; however, it is a conflict which can be made easier by waking up the populace as to whom the enemy actually is.

The journalists who permeate their print articles and TV shows with anti-Western propaganda, the educators who indoctrinate students by using heavily biased teachings, and the politicians who betray us at every turn — all these, and other traitors embedded within the Establishment, along with their radical Leftist puppets, are the enemies of our nation.

The first step in fighting back against the traitors is to realise that we have a problem. The next step is to awaken others. Then we have to fight for the hearts and minds of our people.

Don’t be fooled by the terminology of the phrase “Culture War” — it is not a fight over ballets and operas — it is a struggle to gain the social-political ascendancy in the way people act and think. It is all about changing the mindset of our people.

For decades the bulk of the Left and large portions of the Right have been engaged in a Cultural War against the survival of the West, but most of the population have been largely ignorant of the it.

Multiculturalism, Political Correctness, the war against Christmas, mass Third World immigration, Third World refugees, third wave feminism, laws against free speech, anti-firearm laws, instituting homosexual marriages, normalisation of homosexuality and transgenderism, the black armband school of teaching history, hate for Western heritage — all of these, and more, are aspects of the Culture War our civilisation is engaged in.

The fight over the fate of statues of our Western heritage is an important matter, but it is only one part of the wider struggle. There is more at stake here than just statues. This is a fight for the very survival of Western Civilisation itself. It’s time, right now, for each of us to enter the battle. If not you, then who? If not now, then when?
