Christmas and culture in the West under threat

The Australian Protectionist Party would like to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Christmas is a time for Christians to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, as well as for everyone to spend quality time with family and friends. It is also a time to reflect on the suffering of persecuted Christians in many parts of the world, including in Western nations.

In the West, Christians are under a lot of pressure from multiculturalists who have waged an anti-Christian cultural war to crush and ridicule the traditional beliefs that underpin Western societies. The world is also witnessing tremendous persecution of Christians at the hands of mad Mullahs and Imans in the Middle East.

In Australia, Christians and our sacred days are also under attack from politically correct liberal-minded politicians, bureaucrats, anti-Australian multiculturalists and left-wing academics intent on destroying our cultural institutions, festivals and beliefs.

The multicultural brigade and their hateful supporters believe that Christmas is offensive and should not be celebrated within public institutions, such as in schools, government buildings, etc. More than ever before, we should be proud to celebrate our nation’s Christian heritage and not cower to the hateful multiculturalists and their divisive requests to destroy our traditional culture.

As the Muslim population grows in Australia, so do the calls to do away with long-standing festivals and symbols that have a Christian basis. Muslim fundamentalists and their Multiculturalist allies in Australia and other Western nations have campaigned to remove crucifixes, crosses and references to Christmas and Easter.

Islamic Friendship Association head Keysar Trad has criticized the legal recognition of Christmas in Australian society; he said that “It does give the impression that we are a solely Christian nation and it raises the issue of other religions too, whether you are Hindu, Buddhist, Muslim”. This is the same Keysar Trad who promotes polygamy and who has called for Muslim holidays to be recognized in Australia.[1]

Multiculturalists, supposedly the advocates of tolerance, are themselves being intolerant in demanding the removal of Christian symbols and festivals, including Christmas. Muslim groups are also involved in campaigns to remove Christmas from its special place in Western societies. Some politicians in Britain have already caved in to demands from multiculturalists and are getting rid of traditional references to Christmas, and one Council foolishly renamed their public end-of-year celebrations as “Winter Light Festival” in a move designed to undermine the traditional place of Christmas in official public events. In Australia, Christmas cards are even being sent out, by at least one local council, that studiously avoid the use of the word “Christmas”.[2]

All across the Western world, government authorities and large companies are purging Christmas from their public displays and festivals; even schools and kindergartens have banned nativity scenes, Christmas plays, and the singing of Christmas carols, all in the name of “inclusiveness” and “tolerance” (two multiculturalist mantras that are continuously and mindlessly repeated without any thought for what they mean in the real world and the resulting consequences). It seems to be the case that non-Western countries have their official institutions supporting and promoting their local cultures, whilst the opposite applies in Western countries, where the bigots and thugs of political correctness are using their “secular religion” of multiculturalism to destroy our culture.

The Australian people should not bow down to the demands of Muslims and Multiculturalists to downplay our Christian heritage. There are countless examples of Muslims collaborating with multiculturalists intent on challenging the traditional role of our society’s Christian heritage and festivals. We can no longer afford to sit idle and tolerate these attacks on our our traditional way of life. It is time to stand up and resist the pressures from the hateful multiculturalists.

Australia was a nation founded by Christians who believed in protecting and preserving our unique nation based on Christian principles, beliefs and people. The Australian Protectionist party is “the peoples party”, dedicated to celebrating our culture and promoting the importance of maintaining our Christian heritage. Christmas is a fitting time for Christians to celebrate our society’s proud Christian heritage and for all others to celebrate the Australian way of life that was created with that heritage.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

  1. Even the US government has done the same with its yearly card mail out clearly avoiding any reference to Christmas. Whats the point of sending a "Christmas" card without any reference to Christ?

  2. Totally Agree

  3. Keep up the good work

  4. Well done,

This is getting out of control, as for the pollies and Muslim followers who haven't the b**** to stand up for our beliefs and rights, they need to be stood down and or moved out of their respective seats.

I have dealt with Muslims first hand in a role of law enforcement, they do not and will not assimilate with Western Society, we need to take a stand and regain our way of life, " The Australian Way".

I am really concerned with our children's future here in our own country.

We live in the Kimberley of WA and the detainees in Curtin are driven down to Broome for days out , walking along Cable Beach, demand to sleep on Egyptian Cotton Sheets, aircon in tents, close our local pool so they can paddle their feet in the water, paying for their smokes etc.

Its an absolute joke and needs to stop ASAP.

We need to take a stand so we don't end up like the UK

“Christmas and culture in the West under threat”

(News Views and Comments, Australian Protectionist Party, 25.12.2011)

There is an increasing groundswell of feeling in Australia, based on what this article calls “pressure from Multiculturalists who have waged an anti-Christian cultural war to crush and ridicule the traditional beliefs that underpin Western societies”, and rightly so, even if it is only for political and legal reasons, for no other nation or people have the right to infiltrate, break down, subvert and deliberately destroy our nation and way of life. (Since God created the nations out of one people over 4,000 years ago at the Tower of Babel, according to Genesis 11:9, He has given the nations their own languages, identities, and right to govern themselves, whether they worship Him or not.)

Nor can there be any doubt that, on a national level, those who support and advocate such subversion from inside the nation are traitors – e.g. the acceptance of Muslim immigrants, both “legal” and “illegal”, who make no secret of the fact that they despise our law and the Law of our God, and intend to establish their Sharia Law of their heathen god and take over our government.

Sadly though, these protests are all on a strictly human and earthly level and have no eternal value, not even as influences on the nation and people for their good in the temporal world, for people and nations in the temporal world are subjected to either the blessing or cursing of God, depending on whether they honour Him – see Deuteronomy 28. The Lord is not impressed if we strive to uphold our own idea of what Christianity is, and all the while despise what His Word expressly teaches and commands, and this is the sad state of this generation, so that in almost every case, even those who claim to be Christian and work hard for that cause, are actually against Christ, for they reject His Word.

Now to get down to the nitty-gritty evidence of what I am saying: “Christmas” and “Easter” are not “Christian traditions” but Roman Catholic traditions – the fact that other churches have followed them does not alter the plain historical fact of their origins, which can be proven by consulting the Roman Catholic authorities themselves! Even the Pagans tell us that Christmas and Easter are Pagan and not Christian, and for this reason we are a laughing stock to them. But more importantly, Christmas and Easter have taken precedence in this “Christian” nation over the strict commandments of the Lord, especially the keeping of the weekly Sabbath or “Lord’s Day” and the rejection of graven images. The Scriptures say nothing about Christmas and Easter, except that over and over, in Old Testament and New, we are forbidden to enter into the ways of the heathen or partake in Pagan idolatry. In fact, the origins of these festivals are in the worship Baal and Ashteroth, which the Israelites were continually warned against by their prophets – i.e. the Sun god and the fertility goddess, hence the green trees decorated with images of the sun and stars, the sunrise service, the eggs and bunnies, not to mention the very dates of the pagan festivals on which they are held!

To underline what I am saying, let me just say that when I see advocates of so-called “Christian traditions” advocating the keeping holy of the weekly Lord’s Day, then I might believe they actually stand for something Christian!

This has nothing to do with mere shades of religious opinion, for it is a matter of a nation flying in the very face of God’s wrath, and politics and economics are no answer to God’s wrath, only humble repentance and obedience to His Word can give us any hope – NB: 1 Corinthians 10:20-22, “But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. 10:21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils. 10:22 Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy?

It is not widely known (because of long years of propaganda and ridicule) that in the Puritan era in England, when Christian revival was in its heyday following the Protestant Reformation, when England was led by some of the greatest and godliest men in history, e.g. theologians like John Owen and Richard Baxter, preachers like JC Ryle and CH Spurgeon, Parliamentarians and Military leaders like Oliver Cromwell the like of which we have never seen since, the founding fathers of the USA, John Bunyan who gave us “Pilgrim’s Progress”, and many more. We literally owe our whole existence as free nations today (although it is fading) to these men and their forerunners, otherwise we would be as the heathen, as the Asian and Middle-Eastern nations, or the downtrodden Roman Catholic nations of Europe and South America. The Puritans were not known for a stand for Roman Catholic and Pagan traditions, falsely advocated in the name of Christ, but for the very Christian faith according to the Bible!

Israel of old was given commandments with the promise that disobedience would destroy them and cause their enemies to triumph over them and bring them into bondage, while obedience would bring national blessing: Deuteronomy 28:12-13, “The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow. 28:13 And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them.”

These commandments and promises still stand today for the Christian Church and Christian nations. We ignore them at our peril, but we see today all around us, if we have eyes at all, they are being fulfilled in the negative and not the positive. This is why we need Christian leadership, not mere rabble-rousing for some vague idea of our own traditions! May God have mercy on us and give us godly leadership before we are destroyed as a nation and our Christianity is trodden altogether underfoot by the heathen who hate us and our God and Christ! Amen.

Sincerely in Christ’s service, And for the blessing of my people,
