Anzac Day 2011

On this, one of the most important days of the Australian calendar, we remember those who fought and died in the service of their nation.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old,
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

Lest we forget

  1. Well said Allen, I'm from Kiwiland and at times feel more patriotic of Australia than those born here. I love this country and would die for it, it saddens me to see so many of Australia's youth and even older Australians trying to destroy what our grandparents generation did for us to live in safety and to have the choice of whom we allow into the country.

  2. Allan Hatton says

Anzac Day should be sacred to all "TRUE" Australians. My father fought in New Guinea to protect Australian borders and suffered because of it but never once complained. And yet we have these misfit so called Australians and others protesting outside Villawood detention centre to free the criminals inside, and on Anzac Day. If they were true Australians maybe they should have put their energies to a more, dare I say it, PATRIOTIC cause like showing some support for those honorable people who fought and in some cases die for our beautiful country.

These misdirected protestors are no better than traitors and the people they're protesting for were never invited here. They've shown by their violent actions what sort of "citizens" they would make in our society. They are misfits and doen't belong here.

True Aussie (and very proud of it.
