Barry - You wouldv'e got that under our Dear Leader, KRudd. Now that Tony Abbott is on the scene as opposition leader you are going to get your wish. Unlike Turnbull, Abbott won't take any sh*t from KRudd and his little pet lesbian, Penny Wong. At last, we are going to get a real debate on the issue.........and as far as I am concerned I cannot wait to the New Year. In the words of Barnaby Joyce: "Bring it on!!" What I'd like to see is an open, honest discourse where real facts and data are put on the table and various options for what to do about it are discussed, and citizens of countries are asked what they want and hopefully some sort of democracy takes place.

Let's face it, it the sun has any physical changes to its makeup, we cop it in one way or another.. Perhaps the big picture is just to big for most of us on the planet to comprehend? One way to try to understand the scale of things is to place a football on the ground, then walk to Pluto. Have a nice walk. I've personally spoken to a scientist who gave me a pretty compelling argument about why it indeed is all real. I've also seen a lot of it with my own eyes, and I won't let anyone try to tell me there's not something odd going on with the climate (global "weirding" rather than "warming", perhaps). On the other hand I can see where governments are trying to take this, and I think people like Al Gore are profiteering bastards.
