Australian Police – Protecting Australian Families

Media release

Australian Protectionist Party National Chairman and South Australian Spokesman Mr. Andrew Phillips today welcomed news of the successful operations by Australian and Canadian Police in smashing an international drug operation.

“The news that the Australian Federal Police, associated local police forces, the Australian Joint Asian Crime Group, Customs and their Canadian colleagues have succeeded in making multiple arrests and taking $14 million worth of cocaine, ice and ecstasy off the streets is great news for Australian families and our community should show their thanks and appreciation for this outstanding result” Mr. Phillips said.

“Considering the untold misery these drugs inflict upon Australian families, the wasting of one of our nation’s most valuable resources – our youth, it’s contribution to associated crime, those involved in this operation should be suitably honoured for the great service they have performed for our country” Mr. Phillips continued.

The Australian Protectionist Party recognizes the invaluable contribution to the protection of our society by our local police agencies and calls for increased resources for the relevant departments to combat organized crime, drug trafficking and prostitution – all of which offer nothing but misery and despair for Australian society.

“All responsible Australians should applaud the recent success of our police in protecting the nation from this scourge” Mr. Phillips continued “However, unfortunately for those involved in upholding the law, they are fighting with one arm tied behind their backs as long as our government refuses to adequately screen the backgrounds and associates of prospective immigrants to our shores” Mr. Phillips concluded.
