Half-Hearted Immigration Approach an Election Ploy

Media release

Australian Protectionist Party National Chairman and South Australian Spokesman Mr. Andrew Phillips has condemned Immigration Minister Kevin Andrews’ confused approach to national immigration policy today.

“Mr. Andrews’ recognition of the difficulties experienced by some refugee communities to integrate due to cultural differences and lack of respect for law and order is to be applauded” Mr. Phillips said, “however, his bizarre approach involving a 70% reduction in African intake to fix the problem is verging on ridiculous”.

The Australian Protectionist Party recognizes the failed attempts by nations around the world to introduce a harmonious and unified multicultural society. The Party calls for a sensible immigration policy based on zero net immigration drawn from traditional sources such as Europe and the United Kingdom.

“One must wonder at the motivation of such political leaders when they recognize the source of a problem, then foolishly believe that the problem can be rectified by simply reducing the concentration of the root cause” Mr. Phillips said.

“The Australian people could be forgiven for thinking the government is attempting to have a foot in both camps so close to the election”, Mr. Phillips continued “the Coalition still wishes to appease the globalists within its own ranks, yet at the same time chooses to tweak at the edges of its disastrous immigration programme to alleviate the concerns held by the traditional Australian constituency.”

“Unfortunately for Australians, most political parties irrespective of their political hue are pursuing the same policy” Mr. Phillips said, “a policy that promises nothing but social upheaval, disunity, job insecurity and despair”.
